What is H.I.P.?

Ever wondered how the music of Bach or Handel sounded when it was first played? Or how did musicians in the Baroque period approach their music? Historically Informed Performance (H.I.P.) seeks to answer these questions by investigating and adhering to the styles, aesthetic principles, and performing technique of the era in which the music was originally conceived. Together with using instruments appropriate to the period, H.I.P. aims to re-create the musical experience of the original audience. 甚麼是 H.I.P.?
